| Our Project: |
Partnering with MNCPPC, Trees for the Future helped in planting a riparian buffer along an open flood plain of Sligo Creek in Silver Spring. |
| Situation: |
Deer and invasive weeds make reforestation difficult in many of Maryland's parks. To minimize erosion and stabilize the flood plain, we helped in planting, mulching, and caging 200 seedlings of native trees. |

We particularly thank Jeff Mason and the people at MNCPPC |
